Reports: Mets Acquire Stroman from Blue Jays


The New York Mets have made a big splash at the trade deadline by acquiring right-handed pitcher Marcus Stroman from the Toronto Blue Jays for two prospects. The trade was first reported by Jon Morosi on Twitter this afternoon.

Heading to the Blue Jays will be two of the Mets top 10 prospects in the persons of left-handed pitcher Anthony Kay and right-handed pitcher Simeon Woods Richardson. The package being sent to Toronto was first reported by Ken Rosenthal.
